I had the Caesar Salad, which was tasty. It was too much for me to eat in one sitting. It took me a few more days to finish it. The lettuce lasted that long. It did not wilt, and the dressing did not get watery. For 16.29 after tax, it was well worth the money. Next time, I will get some chicken with it.

Excellent coffee and service every time. They're one of my two favorite roasters on the island. Their food is exquisite...I dream about the famous egg sandwich...a perfect balance of fat, acid, sweet, salt, contrasting textures, and amazing bread.

Our cycling group makes a regular stop here to refuel. I usually get a black coffee but everyone else goes for a cappuccino. The service is quick and efficient. Staff are friendly & helpful. They even help us refill our water bottles at no charge. It’s a nice spot to sit down for 10 minutes and get away from the cold. It’s generally quite busy here on the weekends.

Living near the village of Huntington and having Southdown Coffee just outside of the village is honestly pretty great. Being close to the village is nice, but the area can get packed with non-locals, which means busy streets, crowded restaurants, and limited parking. Totally fine, not complaining — just saying it makes me appreciate having Southdown right around the corner even more. When I’m in the mood for a good flavored latte but don’t have the energy or tools to make one at home, this is my go-to spot. Their baked goods are also on point. Most recently, I tried the matcha vanilla loaf and it was friggin delish. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a little snack. My only complaint is that during peak hours, the line can sometimes be out the door. Sometimes I have the time to wait, sometimes I don’t. It is what it is, and I’m happy to see them doing so well. Just wish the line wasn’t so long when I’m really craving that iced maple latte lol.

Southdown Huntington was on our Dad/Daughter hit list for some time now. I’m glad we finally got there. Our first time visit was an absolute Win! The first thing that needs mentioning is the fact that 30 feet before you even reach the front door you get punched right in the olfactory! The aroma wafting from the shop is magical and alluring— so good! The atmosphere was charming and eclectic, reminding me of an old fashioned emporium. The blond wide plank flooring, ornate ceiling detail, long wall sitting booth and iron pipe & timber shelving all complimented each other. My Daughter ordered a chocolate chip cookie and I got a double espresso shot. The barista that took care of us was a young gentleman ( I feel bad I didn’t get his name to give him praise) was very polite, well spoken, quick at getting our items and helped me pick out a bag of beans to take home for pour overs. All the staff I observed while they were working were positive, happy and professional. When we got to the car I took a sip, my Daughter took a bite and we both looked at each other and said OMG. Daughter loved the cookie, crisp outside warm gooey inside! My shot went down like a warm marshmallow— not a hint of acidic, burnt or sour. My Daughter offered me a bite of her cookie but I declined b/c I didn’t want it to confuse my palette for my espresso. Well done Southdown, you impressed us. We highly recommend and we most definitely will be back!
